The Auto Club Speedway which opened in 1997 and is located in Fontana, California, which is approximately 40 miles east of Los Angeles.  The Auto Club Speedway was built by Penske Motorsports on the old Kaiser Steel location at a cost of $100 million.  The track is a two mile D shaped oval speedway with a 14 degree banking which hosts two Sprint Cup races per year, the first one in February, the Auto Club 500 and the Labor Day weekend race, the Sharp Aquos 500.

In 2005, Kyle Busch, at the age of 20, won his first Cup race at the Auto Club Speedway.  To date, Kyle still holds the record of the youngest driver ever to win a Cup race.

The seating capacity at the Auto Club Speedway is 91,200 with the grandstands being divided.  All of the grandstand seating is on the front stretch with the even numbered sections being toward turn two and the odd numbered being turn one.  When selecting your seat, any row past 20 should provide you with a good view of the track and pit road. If you are looking for a good view of the track and the pits, it is recommended that you not purchase seats in Section 101 and above as they are located way inside the turn.

At NASCAR Cheap Tickets we do offer pit passes for both Sprint races at the Party Zone which include food and beverage, driver appearances and an up close look at the pits. This hospitality pass will make your Nascar weekend complete.

At the Auto Club Speedway, parking passes are required to enter the speedway. Please note that the number of passes issued are limited. It is advisable to consider the Metrolink which has chartered service to the Auto Club Speedway from numerous locations which provide direct service to the speedway.  There will be no need to fight traffic congestion as MetroLink will run one up until one hour after the checkered flag. The cost is $25 per person roundtrip.

As always, here at NASCAR Cheap Tickets you can expect to find the best Auto Club Speedway ticket prices with no hidden charges, no service fees, and free shipping! We also offer very affordable hotel & ticket packages for easy travel to Fontana.
